The games on this site use the following open source data and resources.

CC-CEDICT

The Chinese Measure Word Quiz and Word Snake games use dictionary data from CC-CEDICT, a community-maintained Chinese-English dictionary.

CC-CEDICT is published by MDBG and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This data is used to provide pinyin, English definitions, measure word annotations, and traditional character mappings.

HSK Word Lists

Both games use vocabulary lists from the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) Chinese proficiency exam, levels 1 through 6. The HSK vocabulary lists are published by Hanban / the Chinese Ministry of Education.
